Career Opportunities

The Energy Systems Innovation Center strives to connect power engineering students and power engineering, employers.

Visit and bookmark the Voiland College Internships and Career Services webpage:

1. Career Services

2. Student Success Resources

3. Create a Handshake account

  • Handshake is an important way for you to learn of industry positions, events, and career opportunities.
  • Not all companies post with both Handshake and ESIC Power Listservs, so it is important to participate in both!
  • Recommended: Select security setting option to make your Handshake information visible to “Community” so that power engineering employers can search for you under Electrical Engineering (use key words such as power engineering to enhance search capabilities).
  • Review all the links for profile set-up.
  • Recommended: Fully complete your profile and make public your resume; update your resume as you acquire new relevant academic or work experience.

4. Looking for an internship or job? Post your profile on the Career Services Professional Profile Applicant Portal
